The year is 1378 and your rightful claim for the papacy has been challenged by an usurper. You must gain influence among the people of Christendom in order to secure your legitimacy and the Throne of Saint Peter.
Avignon is a quick influence manipulation card game in which the two players are rival candidates for Pope in the 14th century. Players gain influence by petitioning members of the medieval Church such as Cardinals Nobles and Knights and using the characters' unique powers to pull the character cards over to their side of the table (their congregation) or force an opponent to push cards towards them. The first player to get three characters into their congregation wins.

Carcassonne (Nieuwe Editie) is de vernieuwde versie van het welbekende Carcassonne bordspel. Het Franse Carcassonne is de best behouden middeleeuwse vestingstad. De spelers zijn landheren en zetten hun horigen in om zoveel mogelijk invloed in het gebied te krijgen. Iedere beurt trek je een landtegel die je vervolgens aanlegt aan het steeds groter wordende speelveld. Op de zojuist gelegde tegel mag je vervolgens een horige als struikrover, ridder, monnik of boer plaatsen. Met die horigen, waarvan je er natuurlijk een beperkt aantal hebt, scoor je punten als hun weg, stad of klooster wordt afgebouwd. Ze komen dan terug in de voorraad en zijn direct opnieuw inzetbaar. Lastig wordt het als andere spelers er door het slim plaatsen van landtegels voor zorgen dat je horigen geen mogelijkheden meer hebben om ooit nog in je voorraad terug te keren.
