As interest in and accessibility of museums grew exponentially, many institutions underwent an intense period of expansion on both an intellectual and physical level, searching to grow their collections for profit and science. You play as a curator of one such museum and it’s your job to build the biggest, most coherent collection that you can in this game of collection and bartering featuring over 300 individual illustrations by Vincent Dutrait and authentic architectural facts. But it’s no simple task!

Museum: The People's Choice
The People have spoken... What would a Museum be without the people that visit it? How would all these treasures shine if not through the eyes of all those that behold them? A Museum lives and dies by the will of the public. In this expansion you and your friends can battle it out for public acclaim as well adding a 5th player to your games of Museum! In The People’s Choice you’ll be competing for a common objective that is drawn at the beginning of the game. For example: The “B.C.” card awards players with the most BC dated cards in their museum. The player with the most cards takes the People’s Choice token and keeps it until another player amasses a bigger collection. At the end of the game the player with the token earns bonus points! There are 10 different People’s Choice cards each one with different criteria: Date value regions and themes! Additionally by public demand this expansion also includes the necessary material to play Museum with up to 5 players! This includes a Museum board and tokens for the base game as well as all the elements necessary to play each of the expansions with up to 5 players. Museum The Archaeologists expansion
The Archeologists expansion adds an extra step to the Museum game: in order to exhibit precious artefacts in their Museums, our Curators will now need to send their agents out into the world to bring them back first!
Museum: The World's Fair
Museum: The World's Fair introduces two new mechanisms to Museum. The first new mechanism is the 'Pavilion' which introduces new shared objectives. The second new mechanism is 'Loans.' Loans allow you to send an item to another player's museum which will benefit both of you. This is not available in the two player game. The World's Fair expansion also includes three tower boards as well as additional events, personnel, and character cards.
Museum The Black Market expansion
Museum is about the wonders of the archaeological world, the light, the colour, the textures of these wonders of history put on display for all to see! What some don’t realise though is that there was a dark underworld that shadowed it. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the Black Market, where anything is obtainable…if you can pay the price. Black Market is the fourth expansion for Museum and adds a market system to the game where you may purchase Objects and Notoriety cards to complete your collections and harass your adversaries. For those of you looking to put a more aggressive emphasis on the interaction between players in Museum, this is the one for you!
