The sixth deluxe expansion for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game, The Sands of Harad gives you and your heroes a chance to explore the strange lands and cultures in the southern reaches of Middle-earth. Three new scenarios carry you from the coast, deep into the desert of Harad, and then back within the reach of Mordor and the Dark Lord’s Orcs, although in such a fashion as you have never seen before. Along the way, you’re bound to encounter countless ferocious Haradrim, gruelling environmental effects, and deadly desert predators. You will also have to overcome the ancient animosities that have long festered between the Men of Gondor and those of Harad. This is not a standalone set. A copy of The Lord of the Rings: The Core Set is required to play.

Now, these heroes must gather their strength and embark upon the harrowing journey home. No roads guide their way, yet they must travel more than five-hundred miles along a route that will lead them straight through some of the world’s strangest and most dangerous lands. Race Across Harad is the second Adventure Pack in the Haradrim cycle for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. After a small band of Middle-earth’s greatest heroes capture and tame some oliphaunts to help carry them out of Harad, the new scenario in Race Across Harad pits them against the pack of wargs and their riders who arrive hard upon their heels. Even while their towering oliphaunts may give the heroes an early advantage, the heroes know they cannot ignore the warg-riders and their barbed arrows. Instead, their only hope is to quicken their pace and ride for the Ford of Harnen where their massive oliphaunts might be able to crash through waters too deep for the wargs to cross… This is not a standalone set.
